Living in the Blue Mountains for the last 28years gives me the inner peace allowing my ideas to flow.        My first passion was playing tea parties with my dolls. My family had a collection of tiny teapots and cups and saucers made from china – just perfect for my tea parties. The tea sets were bone china and the interest remained with me. So of course I chose to study ceramics to learn how to make a perfect teapot. I Studied in 1981 -1982 East Sydney  Technical  College, now The National Art School.                                  Later, as I began setting up my own home I was always looking for a butter dish, which would fit our butter. Not having any luck I began to realise the only way would be to make one. Since then I enjoy creating all kinds of kitchenware that will look beautiful as well as being functional. Today I love making teapots and looking for the perfect shape. When I think I have it another idea begins.

I like to think my teapots are full of hot tea every day.
My work is now fired with the help of the solar making the work more sustainable for the planet.
